FTI Advances "Intelligent Industry" Drive across Lampang Enterprises (3rd Enterprise in Lampang): Moving Forward to Elevate Agricultural Industry through Digital Technology and AI
On September 25, 2026, the consulting team of the Intelligent Industry project from the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) visited Phanthai Agriculture Factory in Lampang Province—the third establishment in the province under the "I1 INTELLIGENT INDUSTRY" framework. The team was welcomed by Mr. Apichai Satchachai, Managing Director, and Mrs. Khemmita Satchachai, Executive of Phanthai Agriculture Factory.
Phanthai Agriculture Factory operates under Northern Siam Seedlac Co., Ltd., having launched its agricultural business under the "Phanthai" brand in 2019. It serves as an agricultural processing plant equipped with large-scale cold storage facilities and warehouses in Lampang Province, covering end-to-end processes: washing, trimming, grading, storing, and distributing agricultural produce to markets nationwide.
Key products include fried garlic, garlic cloves, mature ginger, wet tamarind, and shallots. The factory places strong emphasis on systematic raw material management and production workflows to ensure high-quality output that aligns with market demand and consumer preferences.
In addition, the factory plays a pivotal role in sourcing and aggregating raw materials from local farmers and nearby communities. This enhances distribution channels and generates income opportunities for local growers. The plant aims to act as a vital link in the agricultural supply chain and function as a hub for gathering and adding value to produce, rather than competing with local farmers and community enterprises.
Regarding production, the factory prioritizes quality control, cleanliness, and hygiene at every stage—from raw material receiving, sorting, processing, and cold storage to final delivery—ensuring product safety complies with industry standards and market expectations.
During this site visit, the Intelligent Industry consulting team exchanged insights on organizational enhancement in line with the "I1 INTELLIGENT INDUSTRY" policy. The focus was on applying digital technologies, AI, and data-driven approaches to operational workflows and management to boost production efficiency, reduce costs, improve data management, and build future competitive edge.
Driving the Intelligent Industry initiative in Lampang represents another major milestone in empowering the industrial sector to adopt technology and innovation tailored to each organization's context. By connecting industry, farmers, and local communities, this effort creates added value for the local economy and drives Thai industry toward sustainable and efficient growth.
